What Does a Wedding Venue Cost in Bucks County?

    Last updated August 2026

Wedding venues in Bucks County typically run $5,000 to $18,000, which is roughly 30–40% of a total wedding budget. But the number is close to meaningless on its own, because venues price in three completely different ways — and a $12,000 all-inclusive package and a $12,000 site fee are not the same product.

    The three pricing models

Every venue you tour will use one of these. Knowing which one you're looking at is the difference between a real comparison and a guess.

    Site fee only — $3,000 to $10,000

You rent the space. Everything else is yours to arrange: caterer, bar, rentals, staff, sometimes even tables and chairs.

Looks cheapest. Usually isn't. A $5,000 site fee plus catering at $95 per person plus rentals plus bar plus staff for 120 guests lands well above a $15,000 all-inclusive package covering the same things.

Where you'll see it: barns, historic properties, estates, museums, private clubs renting to outside events.

Ask: what's physically in the room, what has to be brought in, and whether there's an approved-vendor list you're locked into.

Food and beverage minimum — $6,500 to $15,000+

No rental fee. Instead you commit to spending a minimum on catering and bar. Hit the minimum and the room is free; fall short and you pay the difference anyway.

Regional minimums run roughly $6,500 on a winter Sunday to $15,000 on a peak fall Saturday.

Where you'll see it: country clubs, hotels, golf courses, restaurants with event space.

Ask the question most couples don't: does service charge and tax count toward the minimum? On a $12,000 minimum, that answer is worth about $2,500.

    All-inclusive package — $8,000 to $25,000+

One price covering venue, catering, bar, staff, basic rentals, and often coordination. Sometimes quoted per person, sometimes flat.

Easiest to compare and easiest to budget against. Usually the best value once you account for everything the other models leave out — though you give up control over vendors.

Ask: exactly what's included at each tier, what's an upgrade, and whether the price is per person or flat.

    Why the models aren't comparable

Here's the trap. Three venues quote you $12,000:

    Venue A Venue B Venue C
Model Site fee F&B minimum All-inclusive
    Quote $12,000 $12,000 $12,000
    Includes catering No Yes Yes
    Includes bar No Yes Yes
    Includes rentals No Partially Yes
    Includes staff No Yes Yes
    Realistic total, 120 guests $34,000+ $16,500 $14,500

Venue A costs nearly two and a half times Venue C for the same wedding, and quoted the identical number.

The only useful comparison is total cost for your actual guest count, with service charge and tax included. Ask every venue for that figure specifically, in writing.

    What drives the price

Guest count. Per-person models scale directly. Even flat-fee venues often tier by capacity.

Day of the week. Saturday is the premium. Moving to Friday or Sunday typically saves 20–30%; moving to a weekday saves 40% or more.

Season. May–June and September–October are peak. November through March typically runs 15–25% below.

Exclusivity. Venues running one event per day cost more than venues running three. Usually worth it.

What's on site. A venue with its own kitchen, bar, rentals, and getting-ready space charges more up front and less overall.

Ceremony on site. Some venues charge a separate ceremony fee of $1,000–$3,000. Others include it. Ask.

    What The Arbor charges

We publish our range so you can rule us in or out before touring.

Elopements and weekday ceremonies From $595
    Full weddings From $15,000
    Capacity Up to 240 seated

That $15,000 is a venue package — not your total wedding cost. A complete 100–150 guest wedding in Bucks County, including photography, florals, attire, and music, runs $32,000 to $48,000. Your venue is one line in that, usually the largest.

    Frequently asked questions

How much does a wedding venue cost in Bucks County? $5,000 to $18,000 for most venues, representing roughly 30–40% of a total wedding budget. The range is wide because venues price in three different models that aren't directly comparable.

What's the difference between a site fee and a food and beverage minimum? A site fee is rent for the space with everything else bought separately. A minimum means no rental charge, but you commit to spending a set amount on catering and bar. Minimums usually work out cheaper overall.

Do Bucks County venues charge extra for the ceremony? Some do, typically $1,000 to $3,000 for an on-site ceremony. Others include it in the package. Always ask — it's a common gap between a quote and a final invoice.

What's the cheapest month for a wedding venue in Bucks County? January through March, excluding holidays, where you'll typically save 15–25% against peak season. The tradeoff is weather and a firmer indoor backup requirement.

How far in advance do Bucks County venues book? Peak-season Saturdays go 12–18 months out. Off-season and weekday dates are frequently available inside six months.

Is an all-inclusive venue cheaper? Usually, once you account for everything a site-fee venue doesn't cover. You trade some vendor control for a simpler, more predictable number.
