The Arbor at The Bucks Club

    Bucks County Wedding Vendors

    Last updated August 2026

These are the people we work with regularly at The Arbor — photographers, florists, planners, and everyone else. We're not paid to list anyone. They're here because they do good work, they're easy to work with on the day, and our couples are consistently happy with them.

You're never required to use them.

    The booking order

Each of these constrains the next, so book in sequence:

    1. Venue — 12–18 months for a peak Saturday
    2. Photographer — books nearly as fast
    3. Caterer, if not the venue
    4. Music
    5. Florist
    6. Hair and makeup — books earlier than couples expect
    7. Officiant, or a self-uniting license instead
    8. Cake
    9. Attire — 8–12 months, because alterations take multiple fittings
    10. Marriage license — 2 to 4 weeks before, and no earlier

What a full vendor budget looks like

For a 120-guest Bucks County wedding, outside the venue and catering:

    Photographer $3,200
    Videographer $2,800
    Florist $2,800
    DJ $1,600
Hair and makeup (8 people) $1,900
    Cake $650
    Officiant $250
    Stationery $700
    Transportation $800
    Total ~$14,700

Plus tips of roughly $1,500 to $3,000. See hidden wedding costs and the full Bucks County wedding cost guide.

    How to vet a vendor

The same five questions work across every category:

    1. Have you worked at this venue before? Someone who knows where the light is at 5pm, where the load-in door is, and how long the flip takes is worth real money.

    2. What's your backup if you're ill? A solo vendor with no contingency is a single point of failure on a date that can't move.

    3. Do you carry insurance? Many venues require a certificate. Ask for it early.

    4. What's the payment schedule and cancellation policy? In writing.

    5. What's not included? Better question than what is — it surfaces things you wouldn't know to ask about.

A note on preferred vendor lists

Some venues require you to use their list. We don't. Ours is a recommendation, not a restriction, and there's no fee for bringing someone else.

If you're comparing venues, ask each one directly: is the list mandatory, and is there a charge for using an outside vendor? Some charge $500 to $2,000.

    Frequently asked questions

Do you have to use a venue's preferred vendors? It depends on the venue. Some require it, some recommend it, and some charge an outside-vendor fee of $500 to $2,000. Ask directly before booking — at The Arbor, our list is a recommendation only.

How much do wedding vendors cost in Bucks County? Outside venue and catering, roughly $14,000 to $15,000 for photography, video, florals, music, hair and makeup, cake, officiant, stationery, and transportation at a 120-guest wedding.

When should you book wedding vendors? Venue first at 12–18 months, then photographer at 9–14 months. Florist, music, and hair and makeup follow at 6–9 months. The marriage license is last, 2 to 4 weeks out.

Are venue preferred vendors more expensive? Not usually. They're generally vendors the venue works with often, which tends to mean smoother logistics rather than higher prices. Compare quotes either way.

How many vendors do you need for a wedding? Typically 8 to 12 for a full wedding. A micro wedding can be done with two or three, since music, rentals, and coordination often aren't needed.

Should you tip wedding vendors? Yes, for most — budget $1,500 to $3,000 total. Business owners are sometimes an exception, though it's always welcome.

This hub page is publishable as-is. Individual category pages each have a marked section for your signed preferred vendors — insert those as agreements are completed.

    Recommended structure per vendor entry:

    • Business name (linked, dofollow)
    • One photo they supply
    • Two to three sentences on their style
    • One line on why you like working with them — this is what makes it editorial rather than a directory, and it's what makes them proud to link back
    • Price range, if they'll share it

Don't publish a vendor without their agreement. Reciprocal linking is the point of this cluster, and it only works as a mutual arrangement.
